Daewoo - Tacuma

Daewoo
2000-05
Daewoo - Tacuma Compact cheap MPV where price is more appealing than the actual drive. Noisy gutless engines make this no pleasure to drive but interior is flexible and hard wearing.
+ Competitive to buy and run
+ Spacious boot
+ Comfortable drive
- Noisy engines
- Outdated by newer rivals
- Depreciates quickly from new

One of the cheapest MPV's around. A bit unusual looking on the outside and inside interior is a bit grey and plastic. Five seat instead of the usual seven, flexible fold down to make space in the back as well as handy rotating passenger seat. Two petrol engines a 1.6-litre and a 2.0. Automatic transmission is an option with the larger engine. Three trim levels SE, SX and, for the 2.0-litre models, CDX. All models feature driver and passenger airbags, remote central locking and electric front windows; the SX adds ABS anti-lock brakes, electric rear windows and air conditioning, and the CDX has climate control and alloy wheels. Not much fun to drive and built for comfort rather than speed with both engines noisy when pushed.
