XK8 boasts muscular looks and performance. This grand tourer also cossets its occupants and is a great long distance mile-eater. Both the versatile coupe and the stylish convertible are great value.
XK8 buyers get an awful lot of car for their money. The specification is very comprehensive with lots of safety features. High technology systems mean that the handling is virtually computer controlled.
It's almost an understatement to call the XK8 luxurious. Its high levels of refinement are self-evident, but it is also a proper sports car. It's faster than many rivals including some Porsche 911 models. The XKR has a supercharger, which means even more vivid acceleration.
The interior might be regarded as cramped by some and cosy by others, but it's undoubtedly special. In theory the coupe is a four-seater, but it's more comfortable and practical for two. Opening up the roof in the convertible certainly helps those who feel cramped in an XK8 coupe.
The V8 engine makes a wonderful noise, but the downside is that XK is now an ageing model, with high running costs and steep depreciation.
