Mercedes version of an MPV, the V-Class is a copy-cat Mercedes Sprinter van with windows and a leather interior. As well as a truly ridiculous pricetag. Nowhere near the standards of proper premium MPVs.

The V Class is a van with seats. The exterior is boxy lacking the more popular curve shape MPV appeal of it's competitors. The only prestige is the badge on the front. Favoured by executive taxi companies teh Vaneo is far more business looking than family. The ride is reasonably smooth on flat roads, but bigger bumps or potholes will have the cheap-feeling interior trim trembling and creaking. The V Class corners exactly as you would expect a van to reluctantly and at acute lean-angles. Petrol engines offer slow performance, but the 220 CDI turbodiesel is even worse and noisy. Modern full-sized MPVs are almost infinitely better, and if you're looking for a commercial-based family minibus the Ford Torneo is cheaper, more comfortable and better constructed.
