Mitsubishi's replacement to the Space Wagon the Grandis has fantastic looks, great performance and is lots of fun to drive. The Grandis is a full-size MPV with lots going for it enhanced with the introduction of the 2.0 litre diesel.
| Good looks | |
| Plenty of space | |
| Three row seating for great flexibility | |
| Sluggish, thirsty petrol |
Competing in the large MPV sector the Grandis is big without being huge. A futuristic appearance gives it a stylish look but the benefits are inside with a versatile seating arrangement. There are both six and seven seat options, with the third row folding flat into the floor, plus lots of neat cubbyholes and stowage areas in a very stylish interior. The seats are comfortable although legroom is short on the back row! Mitsubishi have added a 2.0 litre diesel engine alongside the 2.4-litre petrol engine which is pretty thirsty. With independent suspension all round and sharp steering, the Grandis handles like a family saloon, making it perfect for city use and more enthusiastic driving.
