Alfa Romeo Brera – On the heavier side

Mar 19 2010 Alfa Romeo cars have acquired a rather dubious reputation over the years of being hard to maintain. How much of it is true depends upon individual experiences and the way the vehicle has been treated, but it is becoming increasingly certain that while there is unanimity about the driving experience being excellent, the refrain from most mechanics is that it is tough to repair and will cost a lot to the consumer. The car maker has been able to sell many cars due to its customer friendly car loan and car credit plans.

Their latest introduction is the Alfa Romeo Brera, which they exhibited at the Scottish Motor Expo and while the coupe looks very interesting at the front end, its rear is not something that is going to endear it to car fans. The rear bears resemblance to the Megane. The company though is hopeful about it becoming very popular as time passes and people get used to the looks. One thing is for sure. It does not have the instant appeal of the 156 GTA as an example and will take time to make its mark.
