If there is one thing that every motor car owner hates, it is unexpected breakdowns. To a certain extent one can control your monthly car finance costs and your insurance costs, but breakdowns can quickly destroy your savings account.
Audi seems to understand this, which is probably why the company has now introduced a fixed-cost maintenance, service and warranty package on all its new models.
The package includes all maintenance and service costs for the first 36 months of ownership. Buyers can either pay a one-off fee or they can opt for a monthly instalment system starting at £27. A 90,000 mile/five year warranty is also included, as well as the first MOT.
On top of the standard package, buyers will also be able to choose a package that includes tyre replacements, at an additional cost.
The package is based on a fixed service regime and 30,000 miles a year. For an Audi 4 the complete maintenance and service package, including a five-year warranty, will cost £32 per month. If you add the cost of tyres to the plan, the monthly cost increases to £47 for the same car.
The package can also be customised to make provision for your driving habits. Annual mileages of between 5,000 and 40,000 miles are available, but the maximum mileage over a three-year period may not exceed 120,000.
If the vehicle should be sold while the Audi Complete is active and payments are up to date, cover can seamlessly be transferred to the new owner.
