German automaker BMW has unveiled its new M3 coupe edition for the summer of 2009.
The company has launched the new model in a bid to capitalise on the continued success of the M3 despite the economic downturn and described the vehicle as "the ultimate M3".
This latest model has a 10mm lower ride height, as well as several internal and external visual changes to ensure the car is marked out from the standard M3 coupe model.
"In profile, the new M3 Coupe editions feature 19-inch M Double-spoke light-alloy wheels in silver alloy as standard and with black gloss finish as an option," the manufacturer said.
The success of the M3 could lead to more people choosing to buy the new vehicle, resulting in an increase in the number of used cars available on the market.
The used car market has suffered from a tight supply chain in recent months as more people have chosen to hold on to their existing vehicles rather than splash out on a new model during the recession.
BMW's M3 series was recently scooped Best Fleet Car 2009 in the annual Fleet World Honours.
