Sneak Preview of the new BMW 3-series

Auto loan buyers have for some time now been looking forward to more information about a car that is sure to shoot straight to the top five in terms of sales: the new BMW 3-Series.

The new BMW promises to be the most desirable model ever.  Not only will it offer a range of more efficient engines, but also a smarter design, an improved driving experience and a bigger selection of models.  There will even be a hatchback carrying the Gran Turismo badge.

The auto loan industry is also keenly looking forward to the release of the new car, since it is likely to create a surge in sales.

Motoring journalists recently got a glimpse of the new BMW while it was being tested in Germany.  The first pictures that came through show the new car looking very much like a baby 5-Series, with a few differences.  The front is more upright and the well known kidney grille is somewhat wider.  The nose of the new car is also more pointed and has a sportier, more aggressive look.

A range of 1.6 and 2-litre turbo-charged engines will be available in either petrol or diesel form.  These engines will feature direct injection for better performance and fuel consumption.  The gearbox will be a six-speed manual version, with an eight-speed automatic box as an option.

Eager auto loan buyers will have to wait until early next year for the new car to appear on showroom floors.
