The fourth X model from BMW the X1 retains most to the qualities of the previous models. The BMW X1 is available as a two wheel (S drive) and as a four wheel drive (X drive). There are three diesel engine choices and most buyers will settle for the 2.0d engine, as it has sufficient pulling power and is the most economical. The BMW X1 is described as an SUV but handles more like a normal saloon car.
As expected from BMW the steering is positive and it hugs the road and corners well. It can SEAT five adults but the center rear seat is awkward with the big tunnel in the center. There is plenty of space in the boot and the rear seats are split/fold. The ride quality is slightly firm and some of the interior plastics are not up to BMW standards. Overall the BMW X1 is an excellent family car and a solidly built car. Interested buyers should arrange the car loan they need to buy this excellent mid sized SUV. The price is on the higher side so you will need to have a good credit score to get a good car loan. Depending on your requirement you can select between the two wheels or four wheel drives model.
