CITROEN has also entered the hybrid concept market with the launch of their Citroen DS High Rider. This model would be launched before the Citroen DS4 and follows closely the DS Inside that was unveiled last year. In fact, the DS3 is a result of changes done to the Citroen DS Inside and would be sold aggressively through attractive Car Credit schemes.
Though full details are awaited, the car is expected to be a full hybrid model with an HDi engine using the famous DPFS or diesel particulate filter system. The engine itself would be connected to the axle at the rear with an electric motor which would give it the capability to use electric power for covering short distances.
This model has its headlights and some of the design aspects matching the C-Sport Lounge, but is not as elongated. It is however bigger and stands taller than the Subaru. The car will sport 19 inch alloys and will have the shiny golden color on its body making it look really grand.
This initiative of Citroen is surely going to provide it greater visibility. However, at this point in time, we have no choice but to wait for more news on this front
