Car maker FIAT has announced a new development that could help Car Finance customers cut their CO2 emissions in the near future.
Motorists planning to invest in a new MiTo vehicle on car finance may be interested to read that Fiat is fitting the model with new MultiAir technology at the end of the year.
The technology, which affects the engine valves, optimises the performance of petrol engines and can create fuel savings and a reduction in CO2 emissions of between ten and 25 per cent.
Additionally, despite the reductions, power levels have been enhanced by up to ten per cent, while torque has been raised by up to 15 per cent.
This month has also seen Fiat named the vehicle maker to produce cars with the lowest CO2 emissions in 2008, which may be pleasing to car finance customers who opt for vehicles from eco-conscious manufacturers.
