Pogea Racing, the German firm specializing in tuning has come out with a new one or the FIAT 500 by enhancing the output to 264 hp. They seem to have continued from where they began with the Abarth 695 and taken inspiration from their work done on that model as well as on the Abarth 500 Esseesse.
However, rather than go for a totally new ECU, the engineers have opted to go for fresh software and that would be replacing the current one on the Abarth. Their design also permits customers to select from between two turbochargers and they have also gone for a much bigger intercooler as well as upgraded the fuel injectors. The exhaust system is of stainless steel, but the catalytic converter has gone in for a redesign and there are many more tailpipes to choose from.
The engineers have enhanced the braking system to four-piston caliper ones and the other options for customers include a suspension that has been upgraded, classic leather upholstery and carbon fiber liberally thrown in.
This one too is sure to catch the fancy of Fiat fans that are sure to purchase it using some of the Car Finance and Car Credit schemes that will be on offer.
