Fiat offers car loans customers value for money
Dec 8 2008Unsecured Car Loans customers looking to get top value for money as they search out their next vehicle may take a trip to their nearest FIAT dealership.
Following Alistair Darling's decision to cut VAT by 2.5 per cent to 15 per cent at the start of this month, the manufacturer's 500 city car is now available for below the £8,000 mark again.
Launched at an entry-level price of £7,900 for the 1.2-litre Pop in January of this year, the 500 wowed customers and industry experts alike, Fiat claimed.
Having risen in price to £8,100 in the summer, the new VAT tariff now puts the amount of Car Finance required to purchase the vehicle back down at £7,929.
"[The 500] has been praised for its style, eco-friendliness, road manners and economy," said Elena Bernardelli, marketing director of Fiat UK.
Its latest cut in price had served to reaffirm the car's "terrific value for money", she added.
Fiat last week announced its plans to sell a special edition of the 500 - the 500byDiesel - exclusively over the internet.
