After reviving the Uno in the South American market by lending it a design that combines compactness as well as functionality, FIAT has gone a step further and surprised the audience as well as auto enthusiasts with yet another concept vehicle. They revealed the Fiat Uno Ecology concept and considering the awareness as well as concern for the environment from car manufacturers and the public, this appears to be a master stroke from the car maker as people would like to reduce their personal carbon footprint and will surely buy it either outright or by taking assistance of some of the Car Finance schemes that would be made available during the launch.
This vehicle would have material that can be reused and recycled. PET as well as coconut fiber would be the main materials. Clean nonpolluting energy would be provided by the photovoltaic solar unit that would be fitted to the roof and this would charge the battery adequately from time to time thus allowing the alternator to take a back seat. This would drive down fuel consumption.
It is not clear at this point of time whether Fiat will unveil this model elsewhere in the world or just restrict it to Brazil.
