Panda 'offers affordable comfort' for car loans customers
Nov 28 2008Unsecured Car Loans customers looking for a stylish off-road vehicle at an affordable price could consider the FIAT Panda Cross.
Just three months after its UK launch, the vehicle has been named 4x4 of the Year 2009 by specialist magazine 4x4 and MPV Driver.
Judges put the Panda at the top of a list that included several more expensive competitors, highlighting the car's "brilliant" 1.3 16v MultiJet turbodiesel engine as a particular attraction.
Bob Murray, editor of 4x4 and MPV Driver, said the engine had "made a star out of Fiat's baby off-roader".
"It's a viable motorway cruiser now, while bringing out the fun side of the Cross's handling on twisty roads," he added.
Car loans customers can pick up the Panda from £11,995 on-the-road, making it the cheapest diesel 4x4 currently available in the UK.
Off-road enthusiasts may also be tempted by the TOYOTA Hilux model, two of which were recently purchased by television celebrity and interior designer Anna Ryder Richardson.
