The finance you need The car you want

Car Loans customers seeking the latest in-car technology may be interested to learn that FORD is introducing digital audio broadcasting (DAB) audio systems to its range of vehicles.

The manufacturer claims DAB provides motorists with a greater choice of radio stations, as well as better sound quality - something which may tempt Car Finance customers who enjoy tuning in to their favourite radio shows on the way to work.

Ford is making the technology available in its Ford Focus, Ford C-Max and Ford Kuga models, with a view to extending it to its other vehicles later in the year.

Dirk Kusche, audio engineer at the company, said a number of its customers already "enjoy the benefits" of DAB radio in their homes.

"Our new Sony DAB systems provide the same listening quality in your car, with less interference than AM and FM broadcasts and a choice of additional stations," he commented.

In other news which may interest those approved for car finance, Ford recently announced the launch of the lastest version of its Ka range of cars.

The small car is to feature at this year's Paris Motor Show in October.
