Ford Focus RS 'may be popular with car finance customers'
Sep 11 2008 FORD has reported that it has already received a large number of orders from customers, who may include those with Car Loans, for its new Focus RS.
The manufacturer said 1,000 orders have been placed with its dealer network, with Electric Green proving to be the most popular choice of colour.
Buyers with unsecured car loans may have seen the RS, which features a 300PS version of its Duratec 2.5-litre turbocharged engine, when it was unveiled by Ford at the British International Motor Show earlier this year.
Roelant de Waard, chairman and managing director of Ford in Britain, said: "We're delighted by the reaction of performance car enthusiasts to the new Focus RS and that so many want to place orders even though it will not be available until early next year."
Car Finance holders awaiting the arrival of the new Ford Ka will be able to see the new range at this year's Paris Motor Show.
The car is set to make its global debut at the event which runs from October 4th to 19th.
