Ford offers 'top green vehicles'
Jan 13 2009Car Loans customers looking for a low-cost, environmentally-friendly vehicle to start the new year could find their ideal choice at their local FORD dealership.
The manufacturer claims to offer the UK's "most comprehensive range" of low-emission vehicles that could help drivers to save on motoring costs.
As well as benefiting the environment, an increasing number of Ford models also offer reduced road tax and impressive fuel economy.
Indeed, the entire new Ka range offers emissions of less than 120g/km, meaning it qualifies for road tax of just £35 a year.
"Ford has a great range of practical, well designed and enjoyable low-emission cars for the average family," said Green Car Guide editor Paul Clarke.
He highlighted the ECOnetic range as offering significant benefits in terms of efficiency, environmental responsibility and running costs.
Ford recently announced that its Focus model had emerged as the UK's overall best-selling car for the tenth consecutive year, helping to boost retail sales for the manufacturer in spite of the economic gloom.
