New Fiesta proves popular with car loans customers
Dec 19 2008The release of the new FORD Fiesta earlier this year has sparked a scramble from secured Car Loans customers looking to snap up the vehicle.
According to the manufacturer, nearly 11,500 models have been sold in the UK since its launch at the beginning of October - with more than 9,000 going to retail customers.
The Zetec model has proved particularly popular with Car Finance customers, accounting for more than half of all sales.
Ford is also offering a £500 customer saving and free Bluetooth with each Zetec sold.
Mark Simpson, marketing director at Ford of Britain, said that the "fabulous style, high levels of equipment and a great price" are the reasons behind the new Fiesta's success.
"We expect to attract even more sales from business and economy-minded drivers next year when our ECOnetic model goes on sale," he added.
The firm also announced launch prices for its 2009 Focus RS car earlier this week, with car loans customers able to get their hands on the vehicle from £24,995.
