FORD has unveiled the 2010 Ford Focus ECOnetic and this ultra environmentally friendly vehicle will be using Ford’s own Auto-Start-Stop methodology that helps get rid of the emissions by bringing the engine to a complete halt as the Ford Focus comes to rest.
This attempt towards a mild hybrid engine was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show, when Ford talked about the Ford MAX Concept. The 1.6 litre Duratorq TDCi engine of this Ford ECOnetic would be able to deliver a power of only 109 HP as the focus has been on presenting a vehicle that is efficient and environment friendly. The Duratorq engine has specially coated Diesel Particulate Filters that help bring down the harmful emission levels. Customers are sure to like this attempt by Ford to make available such a vehicle and would be keen to do their bit as well by purchasing it making use of appropriate Car Credit finance and cheap car loan options.
The 2010 Ford Focus ECOnetic can thus claim to be using the latest in eco – technology and should provide the versatility and fuel efficiency that customers have been wanting in the Ford.
