The Ford Mustang – Still popular with celebrities

Jun 9 2010 It is nice to note that many of the celebrities still persist with their old Ford Mustangs despite having the opportunity and the money to buy the latest car brands. Many of them have not disposed off these old cars that they might have bought outright or by making use of the then prevailing car finance scheme. So in addition to the different versions of the Mercedes, Hummers, BMWs and Lamborghinis, the Ford Mustang still manages to retain its pride of place in their garages. Perhaps it has got to do with sentiment or the fact that they consider these cars as stepping stones to their success and do not wish to throw away the lucky charm.

Let us look at some examples.

President Clinton who was the proud owner of a 1967 Mustang convertible took the car with him to the White House as he confessed he found it difficult to abandon the car back in Arkansas.

Charlie Sheen still owns many of his old Mustangs and has not dispensed with them despite owning some of the more exotic brands.
