Consumers could save money if they use the internet to look for financial products such as Car Finance loans, an expert claims.

A spokesman for price comparison website the Thrifty Scot asserts using the web can save both time and money for consumers.

Those with decent credit ratings can gain great deals on Car Loans, secured loans and mortgages, as well as other financial products, he continues.

"By applying online, you are actually saving the lender money because there is no need for extra staff to speak directly to customers. Applying for a loan online is therefore cheaper," the industry commentator adds.

Also this month, the National Franchised Dealers Association and the Finance and Leasing Association stated now is a good time to buy a car on credit.

The bodies highlighted there are many great deals on good value cars available, despite the current economic gloom.ADNFCR-1366-ID-18804453-ADNFCR
