Aug 3 2010 Everybody wants to have their cars fitted with the latest features and gadgets drawing inspiration from the various movies they often see, especially the James Bond ones. However, the point to consider is whether all of them are necessary and worth paying the price since you would be adding these prices to the car finance product you ultimately end up taking and that is going to push up your monthly repayment amount much higher than you would have anticipated.
Let us face it. It is these various gizmos that end up pushing up the price of your car way beyond what you had initially budgeted and many of them are more cosmetic than of real value. So while one may argue that air conditioning is a necessity, keyless entry, heated seats or navigation systems within the car are definitely not something that can be called necessities.
Yet another product is run-flat tyres that provide you with the convenience of retaining their pressure even after suffering a puncture for about 50 miles so that you can get them repaired. Considering that these cost much higher than normal tyres and flat tyres are not a regular occurrence, they may not be worth the investment.
