Car loans for bad credit

Jul 10 2010
The financial situation today across the world is not on sound ground with the latest European sovereign debt crisis threatening to pull the world economy into another hole. The recovery after the failure of some of the top US banks has been a slow on and just when we thought things were improving, this problem has come up and that will mean more tightening of credit norms and better diligence on the part of lenders before they lend to consumers.
Those who are already having a bad credit score as reflected on their credit report will find it tough to get loans of any kind at affordable interest rates. The lenders would not be comfortable lending to them and would accord preference to others who have a better score to show. However, this does not mean that such individuals would not get the car finance they want at all. The only difference is that they would have to pay a higher rate of interest and prove to the lender that they would be capable of repaying the loan amount without default.
Of course, having proved the above to the lender, they must ensure they keep up to it so that their score is not tarnished further.
