Used car financing – different options available

Jul 12 2010 If you have made up your mind about going for a used car due to the obvious advantages of having to pay much less for the car as well as the fact that the depreciation component is more or less taken care, then you must look at used car financing options that encourage you or present you with the opportunity of saving further money.
One such option is the leasing one where you get to drive away the car of your choice by making some down payment with the rest by way of monthly repayments. The advantage is that as opposed to the conventional car finance arrangement, your monthly repayments would be much lesser. It therefore puts you under lesser pressure to fulfill your monthly obligation and you get the advantage of using a car of your choice. It is also very likely that you may be able to use a much bigger or expensive car on this arrangement.
Conversely, the only drawback is that the car would not be on your name till you pay the full amount. But that is a small price to pay for the benefits you get overall and hence this option should be considered by you seriously.
