Want a hybrid car, then show a healthy credit score

May 5 2010 The reasons for the sudden popularity of the hybrid car are not easy to find. It is not the way they look or the way they can be handled on the road. The recession coupled with soaring gasoline prices has made this option a necessity.
You may want to do your bit towards contributing to a cleaner and greener environment by going in for hybrid cars. However, unless your credit score is a healthy one, you will find that lenders are not very keen to advance you that car loan you require for the vehicle, your noble intentions notwithstanding.
We have had some years of easy credit and that has resulted in a lot of financial stress and recession. Auto dealers have also reported instances of defaults by lenders and are therefore chary of providing car finance to buyers with dubious credit records. It is becoming difficult to convince people that they are not getting easy credit due to their poor credit score when it was due to their ability to get access to mortgage loans that caused the problems in the first place.
