The finance you need The car you want

Car News

Drivers travelling abroad need to remember to take all important Car Finance documents with them, an industry expert has claimed.

However, when taking such records abroad, Car Loans customers should not leave them in the vehicle for fear of theft, esure warned.

If important documents are lost while abroad, it could impact on future car finance or Car Credit agreements, Adrian Webb, head of corporate communications for esure, said. He added that identity theft could also arise from leaving such documentation in a car.

Mr Webb added: "If you're going abroad, take everything you've got: take your policies, policy booklets, emergency numbers, license… But don't drive around with it in the car."

According to the RAC, three million Brits drive abroad each year.
