Britons wanting to get more for their Car Finance deal might want to consider choosing a prestige cabriolet, as value for the models slide.
Statistics from Glass's Guide - the publication created by auto intelligence company EurotaxGlass's - has shown that the value of these cars has dropped by almost a quarter during the past year in line with consumer spending.
This could be good news for Britons who would like to purchase a cabriolet or a roadster but previously did not think their car finance could stretch to such a vehicle.
"These cars now represent tremendous value for money, but consumers will need to act soon if they are to grab a bargain," commented Richard Crosthwaite, prestige car editor at Glass's Guide.
He added that prices are beginning to stablise and are likely to rise in the run-up to summer.
In related news, director of the Retail Motor Industry's National Franchised Dealers Association Sue Robinson recently said that the credit crunch is impacting upon British car buying patterns.
