New Car Prices Going Up Again In The UK

Nov 16 2009

FORD has already increased their new car prices thrice in 2009. RENAULT and Skoda are already to increase the price of their cars. CITROEN has already increased their car prices and up to four hundred pounds on certain models. So those buyers who had already arranged Car Loans have been forced to go back to the finance companies to get their car loans revised. SEAT, Nissan, HONDA and VAUXHALL are also increasing their prices. Car sales in the UK are going to get affected with these continuous price hikes.

Car buyers will need assurance from manufacturers that they won´t be charged revised prices after they book their cars. It´s difficult to arrange Car Finance and to be forced to go through the process again doesn´t auger well with car buyers. Some car manufacturers are blaming the price hike on fluctuating exchange rates. But whatever may be the case car sales are going to be affected. Any savings that people thought they would gain from the scrappage scheme is getting wiped out. Car buyers are turning to pre-registered cars and giving up the dream of buying a new car. We hope that car prices will stabilise and the manufacturers will regain the confidence of car buyers.
