Porsche to unleash Panamera

Feb 16 2009

Car Finance customers may be interested to read that luxury manufacturer Porsche has unveiled the interior for its new four-door Gran Turismo model the Panamera.

Due to go on sale in September 2009, the new model features a 4.8-litre V8 engine with 400 bhp, meaning the vehicle travels from 0 to 62 mph in five seconds and has a top speed of 175 mph.

The interior has been finished with the luxury market in mind, including optimal ergonomic seating in a cockpit-style environment for three passengers and the driver.

Customers will be offered various opportunities for customisation, including natural leathers, two-tone options, specialist trims and finishes in carbon fibre and natural olive wood.

Prospective buyers - potentially including car finance customers - will also be offered four-zone automatic air conditioning, temperature controls and an innovative High-End Surround Sound System from Burmester.

With 2,400 square centimetres of sound membranes and 16 loud speakers, the audio system has an overall output of 1,000 watts, which is claimed to generate an authentic in-car aural experience.

Fellow sports-car brands Aston Martin and Lamborghini also recently unveiled forthcoming four-door concept models.
