Celebrities take to hybrid cars

Apr 12 2010 The awareness amongst celebrities to go green and contribute their bit towards a cleaner environment is really high. They realise that they can make a positive difference to this cause and since they are being followed by so many fans, they know they have a social responsibility that they must fulfill. It is thus a pleasant sight to see many famous celebrities putting their might behind hybrid cars and going all out to promote them by buying them very often without the need for any car credit or car finance schemes.
Celebrities like ED Begley Jr and Woody Harrelson, well known for their love for trees and greenery took to the electric car a long time ago. The good thing about the hybrid car is that it does not take long even for somebody not too motivated to go green to get attracted towards it. That is because of the convenience of filling it up at just any gas station like you would do with conventional cars and all that is required is the will to support this wonderful invention.
Besides the Toyota, Honda has also entered the hybrid market through its Insight.
