Honda’s in house creative team is at it again. Mugen will fit the HONDA CR-Z Hybrid with fresh kits consisting of front aprons, a spacious roof-mounted wing along with side skirts and a novel front grille featuring the latest LED daytime lights. A diffuser at the rear completes the picture. All this seems contrary to the concept of the vehicle that is supposed to be an economical affordable one for the masses and that will be available in easy through easy to own car loan schemes. At this point, of course, all these are in the conceptual stage and have not yet been added to the power plant.
Other plans include air filters and efficient suspension as well as exhaust systems found in sports cars. Customers will also get the option of choosing the 17-inch alloy wheels they want from a range.
The interior of the vehicle also features some unique items like different looking gear knobs, floor mats, more number of gauges and a mirror made out of carbon fiber. This car has a 1.5 liter engine running on petrol with a peak torque of 145Nm. It is hoped that this model would be the precursor to the much awaited “R” model.
