Honda has announced a revised version of its Accord that boasts subtle exterior changes, as well as modifications to the car's chassis and engine. The Accord is already a popular choice among consumers and the new version will undoubtedly prompt other drivers to investigate car finance options.
The front of the car now sports a new bumper, grille and headlights. The vehicle's rear bumper and lights have also been re-styled.
The interior of the car has also seen some modifications, with the door handles and handbrake now sporting a silver finish. EX and ES models now also boast striking ambient blue footwell lighting.
Some of the biggest changes cannot be seen however, such as improved soundproofing under the bonnet.
The 2.2 litre diesel engine's CO2 emissions have been significantly reduced from 147 to 138 g/km. Emissions in the estate models have also been reduced to 143 grams per kilometre. For the 2-litre petrol engine, emissions were cut to 159g/km from 168g/km.
A new range of accessories and options are now available to drivers looking to personalise their Accord. These vary from 17-inch alloy wheels for the ES and ES GT models, to three new colours for all models. Most car finance deals will allow drivers to add accessories to their initial loan within reasonable limits.
Drivers will be able to catch a glimpse of the new Accord at the Geneva Motor show in March, but the car will be available to purchase from July. Drivers interested in the new model should begin investigating car finance options.
