It is indeed a strange world. Not long back you had all kinds of celebrities including sports personalities trying to outdo each other in their collection of the most exotic and luxurious cars. The trend was not surprising considering they earn enough and do not have to depend on any Car Finance schemes to splurge on such purchases.
However, once TOYOTA introduced the Prius and a new concept of hybrid cars, almost all the celebrities were falling over each other in trying to be the first to switch to such cars and demonstrate their commitment towards the ‘go green cause.’
The irony is that most celebrities now no longer miss their famous BMWs and Jags. It is not as if they are still not buying these super luxurious vehicles, but the trend seems to have shifted and they are now looking forward to every new hybrid model that is about to be introduced. The SUV from FORD is being eagerly awaited and the sentiment is more tilted towards family cars having the hybrid tag.
Hollywood is certainly leading the initiative towards a cleaner and greener environment.
