JAGUAR after some period of relative inactivity is planning to launch a slew of models across the F and X type and all this is happening thanks to the renewed interest in the brand by Tata Motors and its acquisition. The CEO of the company mentioned that there would be many variants of these models and the assumption is that the X type would be in the form of a sedan as well as estate while the F type would come as coupe and roadster. It is a sure indication that the Tata brand wants to make quick inroads and wants to make up for lost time.
While many other details are still awaited, it seems like these vehicles would make use of the much modified chassis of aluminium that is being readied for the XF model in preparation and touted as the next generation vehicle.
The CEO Mr.Forster also mentioned his plans of introducing the XF Estate as well as the XF LWB and the Chinese market are being targeted for these models. Needless to say, all these models would have the backing of appropriate Car Credit and Car Finance schemes.
