James Bond Aston Martin to be auctioned

Jul 9 2010 The Aston Martin carved out its own identity when it appeared in the hit 007 series and no lover of James Bond would have missed out noticing this lovely car and wanting to own it for its sheer power, elegance and celebrity status by either buying it outright or through a car finance arrangement. Considering that other famous and flashier brands like the Jaguar were also around, it was indeed a tough ask for Aston Martin to make an impression in the manner it did.
The good news is that one of the cars built in the 1964 complete with all typical James Bond gadgetry such as nails spreader, smoke screen, oil sprayer, number plates that revolve into something different, bullet proof shield with machine guns and many more is being auctioned in the month of October this year by RM Auctions. This one was driven by Sean Connery in movies such as Gold finger as well as Thunder ball and the person buying the vehicle will be allowed to retain the famous registration number.
The vehicle though is currently in the possession of Jerry Lee who bought it way back in 1969 and he is surely going to be laughing all the way to the bank. Of course, he has indicated that he would be using the proceeds for his foundation set up to combat issues of crime and poverty.
