Mr. Bean’s sale of his Aston Martin Virage
Mar 25 2010Auto trader has put up the Aston Martin Virage that was owned by the famous comedian Rowan Atkinson on sale. The Mr. Bean and Blackadder star has been the first owner of this vehicle and would have definitely purchased it without taking the help of any of the car loan or Car Credit schemes, thanks to his immense popularity and claim to fame arising out of his roles in Canned Laughter, Blackadder and Not the Nine O’ Clock News.
Consequent appearances in movies such as the Bond ‘Never Say Never Again’, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Love Actually and The Lion King only cemented his place in the tinsel world. It was however with the character of Mr. Bean in the 1990s that Atkinson became really well known and his depiction as the hapless Mr. Bean won him a lot of laurels and fame.
The actor is well known for his love for cars and owns some of the best brands such as the Mercedes, McLaren F1, JAGUAR Mark VII, and AUDI S8 and so on. In fact his Jaguar was the one that suddenly went up in flames at Mayfair and true to his character; he tried to douse the flames with the help of an extinguisher prior to calling in the firemen.
