The Jaguar F-type revived

Jul 17 2010 It is quite sad when popular or exciting models to be launched suddenly go out of favour or have to be pulled back due to financial troubles. The Jaguar F-type was one such model that initially made its debut in the year 1998 as the XK180 and had to be pulled back due to the company running into financial trouble. Considering the reputation that Jaguar as a brand carries, it would definitely have recorded great sales with many customers buying it either outright or through company supported car finance schemes.
Since then, despite the odd rumour of it making a comeback, nothing worked out until the arrival of Indian auto major TATA. It now appears that the F-type will indeed become a reality in the form of a sports car with state of art engines as well as other latest technologies supporting its debut.
Jaguar is also believed to be bringing in yet another Range Rover on the lines of the BMW 3 Series. The company will also be setting up new factories at both India and China and would be closing one of the plants in the UK.
