Land Rover plans new launches
Jun 8 2009Car manufacturer Land ROVER has announced that it is to unveil three new models at this week's Motorexpo in Canary Wharf.
Running from Monday June 8th to Sunday June 14th, the Motorexpo will see the debuts of Land Rover's new 2010 Range Rover, 2010 Range Rover Sport and Discovery 4, which it hopes will stimulate plenty of interest in larger vehicles.
It could also help increase the demand for larger used cars when these models begin trickling through into the market, as more people look for bargains on bigger cars.
According to Land Rover, the new models boast "new refined and powerful engines, delivering improved fuel economy and CO2 emissions, striking exterior design changes and completely redesigned interiors bringing new levels of refinement, technology and craftsmanship".
The UK used car market has seen values continue to increase over the course of 2009, while the recession has held down demand for new vehicles.
Manufacturers are keen to encourage more buyers into the new car market with new models such as Land Rover's offerings, while the move would also help reduce the pressure on the used car market.
