Celebrities and sports stars are expected to wait several years before they are able to get their hands on the latest supercars, it has been claimed.
According to the MPH Prestige & Performance Motor Show, wealthy car enthusiasts, such as footballers and celebrities, have to wait up to two years before they take delivery of their vehicles.
"Even with the recent economic downturn, celebrities, footballers and oligarchs are patiently queuing to get their hands on the latest offerings from the most exclusive marques such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Bugatti," it stated.
The organisation noted that Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is believed to be waiting a year to get his hands on the new £872,000 Bugatti Veyron, while James Bond's new Aston Martin DBS also has a 12-month waiting list.
Featuring the stars of Top Gear, the MPH show will be taking place at London's Earls Court on October 30th to November 2nd before moving on to Birmingham NEC between November 13th and 16th.
