US President Barack Obama made a visit to the production facility of Chevrolet at Holland, Michigan and this was made possible due to the ground-breaking ceremony of one of the key suppliers Compact Power who would make supplies to Chevrolet Volt. This latest facility is expected to play an important role in speeding up the progress of the high-tech industry and this was expressed by the President himself.
The President also seemed quite enthusiastic to drive one of the cars and was particularly interested in the electric car that was on display and capable of covering 340 miles with a full tank. That was not surprising given the world wide concern on environment and the efforts being made to reduce the carbon footprint. There is no doubt that the government would do its best to encourage more of such cars and companies too would want to offer the best of Car Finance schemes to enable customers to buy them.
The Chevrolet Volt would have to be powered by electricity always and it is only for the first 40 miles that its inbuilt battery would be able to provide it power. However, once this runs out, a seamless transition to gas would take place, which would take the car for another 300 miles without a problem as long as the tank is full of gas.
