To coincide with the release of the Quantum of Solace, a magazine has brought together the largest number of genuine James Bond cars ever photographed.

Daniel Craig will once again be getting behind the wheel of an Aston Martin DBS for the new movie next month and to celebrate, Octane magazine is to feature nine iconic cars from the Bond franchise.

Included in the November issue of the magazine will be the Aston Martin DB5 from 1964's Goldfinger, the Lotus Esprit S1 from The Spy Who Loved Me in 1997 and the CITROEN 2CV from For Your Eyes Only, which was released in 1981.

Other Aston Martins to grace the pages of the publication include the Vanquish, which appeared in Die Another Day in 2002 and the DBS from 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Aston Martin recently announced that it was to revive the Lagonda marque, which celebrates its centenary next year.

The firm's chief executive officer Dr Ulrich Bez said the first car under the brand could be on the market in 2012.
