Range Rover appoints the classy Victoria Beckham

Aug 7 2010 Victoria Beckham already has two identities – one that of a music artist bearing the name Posh Spice and the other that of the wife of a celebrated soccer star. She now would be adding a third dimension to her personality when she takes on the job of a design executive for the Range Rover brand.
The announcement was made at the 40th anniversary of Range Rover that was held at the Kensington Palace by Gerry McGovern, who also revealed the ‘mini’ Range Rover Evoque at this function. He believes that her experience as a fashion designer would come in very handy and she would be able to bring fresh ideas to the table.
She says she is honoured to contribute creatively to enhance the style, beauty and finesse of the brand that she has always admired. In her new avatar, this former music artist would be providing fresh inputs as well as ideas to enhance the appeal of future Range Rover roll-outs including any special edition ones.
It is hoped that this initiative will lead to future Range Rover products enjoy better patronage by customers aided by well designed car finance schemes.
