The James Bond vehicle museum

Aug 31 2010 The legacy left behind in terms of the number of exotic cars used in Bond movies is an impressive one and if anybody were to house them anywhere, it would have to be London as that is the place where the agent is supposed to have lived. Other cities like New York, Monte Carlo, Moscow, Paris and Munich are also equally popular ones that come to mind.
However, what should take everybody by surprise is the fact that a small town in Illinois by the name of Momence has been chosen as the venue for putting up a museum of such cars. It is not very surprising considering that the man owning most of these custom made vehicles Mr. Doug Redenius considers Momence as his home and he also happens to be the vice-president of the Ian Fleming Foundation. Hence getting an approval from the foundation is a mere formality.
Well now that is out of the way, we can concentrate on what would be the vehicles that would find their place in this museum. Without doubt, the Lotus Espirit submarine as well as the Aston Martin that featured in ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ and ‘The Living Daylights’ respectively would definitely be featured in addition to many others.
