Alan Shearer’s turn to sell the BMW X5
Feb 20 2010After Steven Gerard, it is the turn of the England captain Alan Shearer to place his BMW X5 on sale through Auto Trader. This vehicle has always been owned by this former striker for Newcastle and was purchased without any Car Finance UK or Car Credit UK help when the star was representing Newcastle United.
It was at the tender age of eighteen that Shearer took to the field representing Southampton in the year 1988 and was quick to progress to Newcastle by 1996 after enjoying a season with the Blackburn Rovers.
Newcastle is where this soccer star shot to prominence and established him self as a major goal scorer netting 148 of them within the next decade. In fact, he still is the record holder for scoring these many goals in the Premier League.
He seems to have devoted equal attention for the upkeep and maintenance of this wonderful vehicle by equipping it with a steering wheel that is multi functional, DVD player with two screens, a console for playing computer games, sensors to detect rain and a navigation system as well.
The engine can deliver about 300bhp and though it has clocked over a 110,000 miles, it is being offered at a reasonable £10,995.
