Car loan customers looking for a break from rising driving costs could be interested in a new survey of car-friendly towns.
Drivers with a new vehicle bought with Car Finance could consider a move to Telford, named as the UK's most motor-friendly place.
The survey by Virgin Money showed the West Midlands location is top when it comes to a combination of petrol prices, parking costs and number of speed cameras.
Scot Mowbray of Virgin Money said: "Although no town or city is perfect, thankfully there are still some pockets of the country that are still suitable for a Sunday drive."
Newcastle was named in second place while Dundee in Scotland was third on the list.
At the other end of the rankings Northampton was ranked last, with Cardiff in 49th place and London in 48th spot.
Earlier this month Spain was named as the most car-friendly destination as far as holiday motoring is concerned, with fuel prices around 30 per cent lower than popular UK tourist destinations Belgium and the Netherlands, according to the Post Office.
