Car finance news: buyers turning to car auctions
Nov 27 2008Unsecured Car Loans customers are increasingly turning to car auctions to help secure cut-price deals, a report suggests.
According to CarAndVanAuctions.co.uk, the website has seen more than 5,000 additional users during the last month, over 50 per cent more than the same time last year.
This bucks the general trend for the motoring site, which usually sees a quiet period in the run-up to Christmas.
Richard Lawton, marketing manager of CarAndVanAuctions.co.uk, said the increased traffic was a result of more drivers hunting for high-value new and used cars.
"This demonstrates the ingenuity of British motorists who have realised that they can secure a high quality vehicle for a reasonable price through motor auctions," he claimed.
However, the website advised unsecured car loans customers to make sure they consider the whole buying process beforehand, with some prices not inclusive of auctioneer's commission.
CarAndVanAuctions.co.uk allows buyers to search for their nearest car auction, with a range of vehicles on display at locations across the UK.
