Car loans applicants 'should carry out forward planning'
Jan 29 2009People should carry out forward planning and apply common sense when looking to purchase a new vehicle, it has been claimed.
Speaking on behalf of Kitemark, motoring journalist Quentin Wilson highlighted a number of steps buyers should take to help ensure they get a fair deal.
People applying for secured Car Loans in preparation for buying a new vehicle should look to ensure that the dealer or manufacturer they are buying from is a reputable one before parting with their money, he claimed.
"It's about knowing if the product has been tested and if the operator cares about their reputation, standards, doing the right job and all that old-fashioned stuff," Mr Wilson suggested.
Car loans customers should therefore check whether the dealer is a member of a motoring federation and make sure they practice good standards to ensure a good deal for their Car Finance, he added.
According to Manheim Auctions, more buyers and car loans applicants are turning to auctions in the search for bargain deals on used cars as the events grow in popularity.
