Car loans customers look to Hamilton
Oct 20 2008Car Loans customers are unlikely to ever emulate Lewis Hamilton on the race track, but they may wish to follow his lead in their choice of car.
Fans of the young British title hopeful who are browsing the latest cars for sale are sure to turn their attention to the latest MERCEDES Benz GL-Class, after he revealed it as his car of choice for cruising the open roads.
Explaining the reasons behind the purchase of his latest model - a new GL 320 CDI - Hamilton said that he likes to "relax, kick back and cruise" when on the public roads.
"The GL's perfect for that – it's got plenty of space for all my kit, a brilliant sound system, and the high driving position gives me a clear view of the road ahead," he enthused.
However, buyers will need a hefty car loan to af FORD to emulate the young star, with the Mercedes Benz GL-Class starting from £53,615.
And even if they wish to imitate his choice of car, drivers would be best advised to avoid hitting the kind of speeds that saw Hamilton suspended from driving in France for one month last year when he was caught speeding at 122mph on a French motorway.
