Car loans news: Electric vehicles are a viable alternative
Oct 29 2008Customers applying for a Car Loans quote in search of a new all-electric vehicle will soon be able to test drive some of the latest models at a new NICE car company showroom in London.
The firm is opening its second retail outlet at the end of this month in the capital's Westfield Shopping centre in Shepherds Bush, and Car Finance customers interested in greener motoring can combine their shopping with test driving the all-electric Mega City and award-winning MyCar models.
Co-founder Julian Wil FORD said the company was hoping to encourage drivers that electric cars posed a viable alternative to their petrol-fuelled equivalents.
"We look forward to showing visitors that well-designed, safe and affordable electric cars are available to buy right now," he added.
As well as helping the environment, car loans customers can benefit from a variety of savings by making their next vehicle an electric one, including exemption from annual road tax and congestion charges and heavily reduced running costs per mile.
The Mega City is NICE's most popular car and is currently available to UK buyers from £11,499 on the road.
